Overview
The Medicine Hat Real Estate Board Co-operative (MHREB) is a professional association serving REALTORS® in southeastern Alberta’s Medicine Hat region and surrounding districts. Established in the mid-20th century, MHREB supports local real estate professionals who serve buyers and sellers across residential, commercial, industrial, and farm/ranch property sectors.
As a member of both the Alberta Real Estate Association and Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA), MHREB mandates adherence to a strict Code of Ethics and professional standards for all members. The board administers the Multiple Listing Service® (MLS®) System within its jurisdiction, facilitating property transactions and market transparency.
Operating as a not-for-profit co-operative, MHREB provides resources including professional development, advocacy, and technology tools to its member REALTORS® and brokerages. The organization maintains a physical headquarters in Medicine Hat and emphasizes community-oriented real estate services while upholding the REALTOR® trademark’s integrity.
